• DESCRIPTION
Aluminum foil ceramic fiber cloth is a high-quality material combining aluminum foil with ceramic fiber, offering excellent high-temperature resistance. It can withstand operating temperatures up to 1000°C and has a fire resistance temperature as high as 1260°C. The core material consists of high-performance ceramic fiber, which is white in color and rated Grade A. This material demonstrates outstanding strength in bending, tensile, compressive, and tear resistance, making it highly suitable for high-temperature environments such as boiler rooms and power plants.
• PROPERITIES
Ø In terms of functional characteristics: aluminum foil ceramic fiber cloth offers superior thermal insulation. Its aluminum foil layer effectively reflects heat, significantly reducing heat transfer compared to ordinary ceramic fiber cloth.
Ø In appearance: aluminum foil ceramic fiber cloth features a distinct aluminum foil layer with a metallic luster, while ordinary ceramic fiber cloth lacks this characteristic.
Ø Waterproof: the aluminum foil layer blocks the penetration of water vapor, whereas ordinary ceramic fiber cloth has relatively weaker moisture-proof performance.
Ø In application areas: Due to its excellent thermal insulation and moisture resistance, aluminum foil ceramic fiber cloth is more suitable for environments requiring high levels of heat insulation and moisture protection, such as building insulation and protection of high-temperature equipment.
Ø Enhanced protection: The aluminum foil layer provides a dense barrier to prevent smoke/moisture from entering and causing internal fiber corrosion or condensation, thereby extending the service life of the equipment.
Ø Convenient construction: Flexible texture that can be cut and wrapped, no oven required, suitable for irregular equipment surfaces.
Ø Triple heat insulation: ceramic fibers block conduction and convection, and aluminum foil mirror reflects over 90% of heat radiation, with an extremely low comprehensive thermal conductivity.
• APPLICATION
Ø Thermal insulation for industrial high-temperature equipment: Outer insulation layers for heating furnace linings, boilers, reaction tanks and high-temperature pipelines in the metallurgy, petrochemical and power industries. Aluminum foil is used to reflect thermal radiation and prevent the penetration of corrosive gases, reducing heat loss.
Ø Fire protection and welding protection: as a fire blanket, spark shielding curtain for electric welding/cutting operations, or for fireproof door cores, fireproof rolling shutters and fireproof covering of cables, it can withstand short-term high temperatures of 1260℃.
Ø Sealing and filling: Flexible sealing and filling for high-temperature furnace doors, valves, flanges and expansion joints, adaptable to thermal expansion and contraction and resistant to thermal shock.
Ø Special field insulation: insulation around aerospace engines, wrapping of automotive exhaust pipes, fire-fighting interlayers of ships and moisture-proof and heat-insulating protective layers for building HVAC pipes.
